The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

no thanks! :-)

are you planning on basing freelinux on debian, or starting from scratch?

If you're determined to split off from debian, then i think it would be
cool if you used what's in debian now as a starting point and customised
it for your dist's requirements. After all, one of debian's goals is to
be used as a base for other distributions.

I think that there's room for both debian & freelinux - especially if
there are patches/improvements etc swapped between the two groups.
Diversity is a good thing, as long as there is a reasonable amount of
compatibility (e.g. sysvinit directories etc).

I'm sure that freelinux can benefit from all the work that's already
gone into debian and i'm also sure that debian could benefit from the
work you're about to start on with freelinux.

anyway, good luck with your project.

yes, the CVS source tree will be useful. It is, I believe, being worked on
for a future version of dpkg.
