The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: About the FreeLinux project

Bruce and company,

Ralph, Mike and me talked that through even before the Linux-Kongress
and we intend to have a proof-of-concept implementation before further
decisions are made. As soon as we have something working, we will
present it to the Linux community and the distributors, which then
can decide on what they see.

Mike and I talked with several people at the Linux Kongress about our
project and its motivation and most of them saw things in a very
similiar way, which was very encouraging.

Let me state that clearly: we do not intent to harm the Debian
project, nor do we fancy ourselves to be a competitor.

But: The scope of our project is both narrower and broader than Debian
ever can be. For instance we have established contacts to developers
who do not like Debian and would not join Debian, but who are working
actively on ports to other architectures. Not to mention our contacts
to other Linux distributors.

As a result of that i would see it as a severe limitation to our goals
if we would do as you proposed.

Thank you for your offer. We will take it into serious consideration
when we have achieved our primary target.

Yours,
  Dominik Kubla
  The FreeLinux Project
