The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Interesting dpkg issue, plus thoughts...

There are lots of things that will cause the original code to be wrong
(not the least of which is setting utmpInhibit in your X resources...)

The new dpkg scripts do the right thing now, yay.

I think someone is working on the problem where dpkg-source doesn't
handle 100 character pathnames... the biggest problems I've had other
than that are with dpkg-buildpackage *changing*, like the way "files"
moved from the subdirectory to the debian/ dir. But I don't read
documentation often enough to have a legitimate complaint there :-)
