The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Debian Logo

Hi folks!

After several weeks of holding the logo development, I think we should
discuss how to proceed.

Though the "Logo Pages" have been a lot of fun to a few people (including
myself) we did not succeed in developing a "logo". We got lots of nice CD
covers and alike, but no a single "logo".

That's why I suggested to develop "Logo Guidelines". This guidelines
should tell the logo designers how a "logo" should be (scalable, printable
in b/w as well as colours, etc.). However, I came to the conclusion now,
that this will probably not get us any further.

The problem seems to be, that we all here are good software developers but
noone here is a real "designer" or "artist".

And I'm also doubt, that we'll succeed by letting everyone out there on
the net vote for a logo.

So I propose something totally different: We should contact a designer who
develops several logo suggestions with our input. The logo should be
chosen by the debian-private people, by voting.

I don't think this development should be done on a public list: The people
out there are very "rude" and I think a lot of people who contributed to
the logo pages stopped spending more time on developing a logo because the
answers were too negative.

What do others think?

Thanks,

Chris
