The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I mentioned Debian's logo requirement to a Artist friend of mine a while back, 
and he was intrigued by the idea.

He also seemed willing to do a logo for the kudos, and a mention on the web 
site, but I think that might be because he doesn't understand the Internet ;-)

I gave him a brief outline of what Debian is all about, but that was before 
the social contract got published --- I'll show him that next time I see him.

He did say that he needs a good understanding of the organisation for which he 
designs a logo, so if there is anything people think I ought to show him, mail 
me about it.

Of course, if there are funds for this, he is an impoverished artist with wife 
& kids to feed, so I'm sure he wouldn't refuse payment.

Presumably a few sketches of ideas are what we need to start with, and then if 
one is acceptable, a fully worked version.

The only problem might be getting the stuff into a computer, since he's more 
into real paint, but I'm sure we'll work something out.
