The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Debian needs a "mentor" for new maintainers

all, prepare for a nice me-too type message :)

I'd just like to point out that IRC is also good for user support. At times
far better than debian-user, because on IRC you get instant feedback to your
ideas. If the question isn't clear, you can ask for more details, and get
them immediately. This is especially true for first-time installation and
configuration. I've helped quite a number of people to install debian for the
first time, and I am sure I saved them quite a lot of trouble and
frustration, knowing the little quirks of installing debian from being a
tester of bo disks.
Of course, we also answer all other debian and not so debian-related questions
:).

Consider this my vote to make #debian the "official" part of Debian :)
