The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Debian needs a "mentor" for new maintainers

You are right. I am working on that right now. I would have had new packages
released last week, but I got caught in an embarrassing flame war in the
admintool list :-(

In any case, I think I could do that "mentor" job _besides_ fixing my
packages and taking a few more, since I now have more free time.

I said I volunteer if nobody objects. I think Debian needs that mentor anyway.
And I thought that saying that some extra work is needed and not offering
myself for that work was a bad idea.

So, I would like to know your opinion, independently of whether I do the job
or someone else does it.

I think the theme of your message is suitable for the "new maintainers
Guidelines" that I suggested:

- Before starting talking about political or organizational issues in SPI,
please make sure that the packages you maintain are up-to-date and in
  good order.

I will include it in my proposed draft, if you don't object.

Thanks,
	Fernando
