The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I don't like seeing dates in release numbers. They're fine in snapshots,
but they're a bad idea for released software. It sort of implies that
the release team didn't have a schedule.

People will tend to want the latest and greatest (based on the date),
ignoring the fact the most stable version (what they really want) is
actually a few months or a few years old. I think that's why Microsoft
up with "Windows 95". Hey! It's 1997, shouldn't I upgrade? :-)

I liked Bruce's 2.0_revision_1 numbering scheme.

Cheers,

 - Jim
