The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

We all share that goal. [1]

But some of use think that a book is the wrong technology for Debian with
its distributed and non-monolithical character.

Books might have worked well for Slackware with one release/year. I doubt it
works for us.

[1] Actually, JF Lehman's, a decent German bookseller with a long computer
books tradition has one in the works or out.

[2] A postscriptum on your (Bruce) statement on FTP not being possible in
German for domestic users. Of course it is possible. You just pay to both
your ISP and the phone company which makes it more expensive. Which is in
line with most things in Germany...
