The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Sorry, I've been drowning in re-sent E-mail after my most recent
message to debian-devel. My thanks to all the people who have
patiently re-sent their E-mail messages --- I can't believe how much
was missed.

I'm glad you didn't wait --- I'm always happy to have other people fix
bugs for me, especially where critical security problems are
concerned.

Actually, though, I'm no longer the samba maintainer:
Andrew Howell <andrew@avon.it.net.au> (the original maintainer)
agreed to resume maintenance of the package several months ago. I'm
not sure if he's still interested, or if he just happens to be away
for a bit.

In any case, I'd be happy for either you, Andrew, or Eloy Paris to
take over as maintainer of samba: it would be good to have a non-US
maintainer so we can merge the maintenance of the samba and sambades
packages. I'll leave it to the three of you to figure out the
details. :-).
