The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Samba insecure?

Hello,

did you read the `CERT* Vendor-Initiated Bulletin VB-97.10.samba'? It
says that samba installations especially on Intel Linux are affected.

Your current version under bo-updates seems to be the recommended one
1.9.17p2, but I need the DES support, and the sambades-version in
ftp.uni-mainz.de:/pub/Linux/debian-non-US/bo/binary/ is still 1.9.16p11.
Are you panning to upgrade this one, too?

Unfortunately I've seen no notice about this in
http://www.debian.org/security.html. You write there: "Most security
problems brought to our attention are corrected within 48 hours."

Thanks for your help!

Regards,

    - Stephan.
