The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Some more information has become avaiable on this. The bug is known
to affect all Intel Pentium and Pentium MMX systems. Currently there
is no solution to fix this. There are rumours that Pentium's (at least
recent models) allow limited microcode updates which might fix this.
How these updates are made and when they become available are unknown.

Alan Cox reported on BugTraq that this bug also occurs on Cyrix 6x86
systems. He referred to http://www.heise.de/ct/art_ab97/9713030/ for
more information on that one. That could be fixed however by running
"set6x86 -p 0xc1 -s 0x10" according to a post on linux-kernel.
