The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

giving money to gnome

the text i'm speaking of was :

I still think that saying "kde people : don't give the money from that
cdrom to us, give it directly to gnome" (not a quote, but that is how
people can understand the posting) is an insult. if it wasn't meant to
be an insult, bruce should clear this misunderstanding.

the point is, that bruce postings are very negative. he makes people
angry, and there is no point in doing so.

i am the kde maintainer, i want to cooperate with kde, to create a good
kde.deb. this is not easy, as i share bruce' opinion (useing qt is bad),
but not his negative point of view. the anti-kde postings were signed
with "debian project leader", so people think that this is also my
opinion, and this makes my live harder and me angry.

but working for debian should be fun. and reading such negative and
distructive postings is not fun, and explaining "no, that is not my
point of view. we have a fanatic called bruce perens in our project, and
he is our project leader. i don't share his negative point of view.
even if i don't like using qt, i want to create a good kde.deb in
cooperation with you. i don't hate you for using qt." is also no fun.

(i'm sorry, but this is how i can explain what i am thinking.
of course, bruce is not a fanatic, but one or two postings per month
look that way.)

bruce : please calm down. maybe it is to much to request constructive
things like building a freeQt, or explaining what is wrong with qt
(to the kde people).
but at least stop this negative postings against kde.
i don't like to get angry again because of some "negative" emails.
