The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Working on the Debian Project Manual

Hi folks!

We, Susan and Chris, just wanted to let you know that we are working on
the Debian Project Manual.

The manual gives a description of the Debian Project, its history and
goals, its organizational structure, and how one can contribute to the
project. In contains explanations of our `open development model,' the
`Social Contract,' the `DFSG,' and other intresting topics.

(Yeah, I know that this is all `highly political stuff'--that's what makes
it so intresting! :-)

Note, that it's not our intention to define the project goals ourselves
but to present a draft for developers' approval and refinement. So we've
decided to use the following schedule:

  1. We finish drafting the manual until we two agree with its contents.

  2. We announce a draft version to debian-private. The manual will only
be available to subscribers of debian-private. Everyone will have
the possibility to tell us his/her very personal opinion, comments,
     critics, etc.

  3. When we have a consensus about the contents of the manual, we'll
release the manual to the public (as any other Debian manual).

We hope to have finished step 1. by the end of December (as a Christmas
present :-)

Thanks,

Susan and Chris
