The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: "purity" package

... oh, and yes, as a fervent atheist, and like many other people
who've posted in this discussion, I find the piece of nonsensical
authoritarian moralising commonly known as the `Bible' offensive.

If we're going to start removing things because people object we
should at least be consistent.

Bruce, do you have _any_ non-content-based objection to the purity
tests which does not apply also to bible-kjv ? Alternatively, please
inform us how we are to arrive on a reasonable content-based standard
which is not just your personal reaction to things.

Election plug: this is exactly the kind of thing which shows that we
need a more formal and less leader-based procedure for making
political decisions. Not that that's the only plank in my election
platform, but it's the one that people seem to be arguing about.

Ian.
