The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Clarification about the idea to "split the distribution"

I would not suggest a 1-CD distribution. Having at least one CD for binaries
and one for source is most efficient. You get to install the most packages
without changing CDs. If you have the source and binaries on one CD, you
can't have very many packages.

I also think limiting the size of the distribution is not necessary if we
provide a package category tool like the one I have demonstrated. The
naive user will get the choices that we put in the category tool, the
advanced user will be able to choose which emulation of vi or which MDA
they want. The actual CD set should contain all packages that are maintained
to current standards.

Cost is obviously not a consideration. $5 for two CDs, and the biggest expense
seems to be shipping.
