sebsebseb3jono_: uhmm the Ayatana Ubuntu patches are not upstream,  in a way they would be, but only for the projects them selves, if  other distros that weren't Ubuntu  based  used them.  Ubuntu's Copyright Assignment can stop that from happening as well.  Also this is a good response to your recent interview.  http://blogs.gnome.org/johannes/2010/08/10/we-have-no-plans-to-fork-gnome/Aug 11 00:49

sebsebseb3jono_: to be clear  I am specifically on about the Gnome patchesAug 11 00:50
jono_sebsebseb3, Ayatana are not patches to gnome, they individual componentsAug 11 00:50
sebsebseb3jono_: as for say the Software Centre  other distros don't use that, but  well  I read Debian willAug 11 00:50
jono_sebsebseb3, software center is not an ayatana project, and any Debian could use it easilyAug 11 00:52
-BNtwitter/#boycottnovell-[qu1j0t3] .@Symbolman what about armed passengers? Still a good idea? #jetblueAug 11 00:54
sebsebseb3jono_: Other  distros could use the Ubuntu Gnome changes, but well they won't at the moment at least,  with upstream Gnome not accepting the changes, and Gnome 3 round the corner. Well use by default I mean,  lets take notify-osd for example, thats optional in the Mandriva repo, they even have Gwibber.Aug 11 00:55
bruce89sebsebseb3: to be fair, both are packaged in quite a few distrosAug 11 00:55
sebsebseb3jono_: As for Gnome 3 no one really knows much about it I guess, except the developers, but maybe some Ubuntu changes for it will get accepted upstream for it.Aug 11 00:56
sebsebseb3in the futureAug 11 00:56
sebsebseb3jono_: I guess upstream can have differnet meanings,  but  for most  Linux users,  as far as I know,  it means the original project.  So calling stuff upstream work, that only Ubuntu uses at the moment by default,  personally I don't think its a great idea.Aug 11 00:59

Diablo-D3txdv: such an object could not exist within the universe anyhow.Aug 11 02:52
Diablo-D3it would form a singularity of such size that it would suck in the entire universe.Aug 11 02:52
Diablo-D3and even if this was not true, it would require infinite energy in the attempt to move it, which would boil away the entire universeAug 11 02:53
Diablo-D3this paradox also does not define if the object is also indestructableAug 11 02:53
Diablo-D3God's attempt to move it would only merely end with it's destruction.Aug 11 02:54
Diablo-D3Self-contradictory statements are particular creatures.Aug 11 02:54
Diablo-D3In a correct system of logic, any immovable object would have to be an unstoppable force as wellAug 11 02:55
Diablo-D3and both cannot be true at the same time.Aug 11 02:56
