City of Kamnik in Slovenia has beautiful life inside

ABOUT an hour ago MinceR responded to psydruid, who had argued "[w]hen Windows is dead they will just officially claim GNU/Linux as their own operating system," saying (that's from MinceR) "they already took over".

Moments ago psydruid said: "They should make it official... Microsoft systemd/Linux" (Potterix is what we've recently dubbed it). Or "perhaps rename it to Microsoft satand/Billux," psydruid added.

Back in 2010 when we renamed the site RMS told me that the site can be(come) like a "sentry" (not quite a watchdog, he borrowed the term from a publication of Jehovah's Witnesses).

I argued back that they have "not fully" taken over, but they keep trying. MinceR brought up the Linux Foundation: "they control the "Linux Foundation" and the author of systemd... plus dehomag [IBM] controls gnome, "free"desktop and a bunch of distros for them."

Looking back to 2006, there was Novell and gregkh (partly salaried by Microsoft), so these are familiar territories: controlling the people and the institutions.

I told him this is not a new issue, but... "they will keep at it [as] they want to "control the opposition" assuming it takes over and there is no way to prevent it taking over [...] so they have splinter groups too [...] to wrest control."

I said that "if you flag them, they will try to censor you" (the FSFE, Microsoft OSI and others have tried to censor us). "You know you're winning the debate when censorship is explored," we wrote an hour ago.
