IBM Layoffs Just Before the Weekend

Yesterday (Friday) there were apparently many layoffs. "Folks are being informed even as you read this. Everyone who is impacted is suppose to be informed by Friday," this first comment says, followed by 15 others.

We've scanned the media for any reports on this, but none could (or can at this moment) be found. Then again, it happened on Friday, strategically.

The original says: "What are people hearing about security layoffs today?"

Seems security folks are subjected to deep cuts. █
