LEVERAGING the "national security" schtick against GNU/Linux isn't a new concept. Nothing novel about it. It was foreseen decades ago.
In some ways this already started last year after escalations. Remember the Xz hysteria, started by Microsoft staff this past March and still brought up by Microsofters earlier this summer?
What next? Will they tell us "Linux" needs "export controls" imposed on it?
In some areas GNU/Linux is growing fast: (Macao or Macau is ranked 8th in the world for GDP per capita)
Wait for the US - maybe NATO at large - to demand "limits" on "exports" (the Linux Foundation already takes lots of Pentagon money and Microsoft money). Based on some lousy narrative such as this:
