Muleboy, scene 5
We're trying, mule and me. It's bleepingly cold, bones freezing. I'm wrapped in Old-Grump's blanket, 'cause my tatterns aren't enough. The blankets aint enough either. I'm not afraid because St Konan leads me. And if I doubt it I can open the book and read it. If I was given the Book of books and the knowledge to read it, how...? Oh God, you love me: help your kid.
I've just kissed the mule. It's scared. It can't read the Book of books, it can't trust St Konan as I trust him. But it trusts me. The snow is swirling around, howling. YOU CANT SCARE ME!!!

PLAIN TEXT DUNGEONS
These are just some simple rules for a fantasy dungeon-crawling TTRPG for you and your friends. Copy and paste, print-out, make a zine - do what you want. Plain text forever!
To play you will need a Guide (sometimes called a game master) and a few chums, as well as some normal dice, something to write with and on, and a few hours to spare.

PF Rule Ordering
Firewall rule ordering matters; by default Packet Filter uses the last matching rule. For inbound packets on tap0 (where the virts on 100.64.0.0/10 live) there are above three relevant rules, the "block all", and then the two "pass in" rules. The reason the "port != 53" is necessary is that without that restriction the last matching rule wins, and thus the previous DNS rule would be ignored. The "port != 53" is however awkward (what happens if you need to match more ports?) and these rules might be better written as...

Enh, I tried…
I’m experimenting with “sitting down with the project for a few hours and if I really can’t crack it, I’ll cross it off the list”. Accepting failure as a possible outcome. That sounds sad and desperate but it’s just been such a relief. It’s a safety valve. It’s a reverse reward. If I don’t do it, I get rewarded by not having to do it.
When I first started doing GTD, one thing I tried to get good at right away was noping out. The whole “I’ve really wanted to do this for a long time but now that I see everything I want to do, this one thing doesn’t seem worth it comparatively or I don’t even know how to begin doing it, so let’s just not”.
This new “try, then maybe fail” is a new thing, a kind of middle ground between noping out right away vs buckling down and throwing all my effort and resources and desperation at something.

Geminispace is almost certainly being fed into LLMs
Or: “Did you ever have the feelin’ you was bein’ watched?” Or: “Did you ever have the feeling you was being watched?”
Ever since LLM scraping has become a thing done by lots of companies for lots of companies, I’ve wondered if and when they’d start scraping Geminispace.
On one hand, there’s not a whole lot of stuff written in Geminispace.
On the other hand, writing a Gemini client is easy.

Capsule cleanup
I’ve noticed a flaw in my character: I’m often burping critique as a knee-jerk reaction and complain about something. Funny thing is that I usually feel bad after the fact but will do the same on the next occasion nonetheless. This is opposite to what I want to be: recently I’m exploring the solarpunk genre and philosophy and found out this optimism magnetic and that I don’t want to spread negativity through my capsule.

Gabbro 0.1.1 Release
That's clearly wrong as if we have a capsule with "my-capsule.net" hostname that's served by gabbo, with internal link like "./some-page.gmi". This would lead the server to believe we're trying to access a url with proxy.

* Gemini (Primer) links can be opened using Gemini software. It's like the World Wide Web but a lot lighter.
