Much Ado About Nonsense
Older: Microsoft Lunduke Belongs in 4Chan
The "anti-woke" Internet troll, Microsoft Lunduke, who mostly dwells in bigots' platforms, has been disproven again. He's trolling and provoking Ubuntu (or Canonical) using off-topic politics, then he claims that some IDE preloads and enables some speech-policing plug-in, which turns out to be false (he admits this eventually, but still dances around the issue).
Official and unofficial channels of software distribution are a factor. Some developers fancy plugins that Microsoft apparently preloads in some software to change what people are saying and how they say things. But it's a false alarm in this case. No smoke, no fire.
In short, Microsoft Lunduke is still all dramatisation and sensationalism, trying to rile people up and incite them based on politics, wherein he particularly targets people who already have problems in their lives (he targets the most vulnerable).
We just wanted to mention it in passing; he is NOT reliable, he's sending mobs (or brigades), he's engaging in 'cancel culture' etc. He's basically everything he likes to accuse others of.
If pertinent detailed in this post seem missing or vague, it is intentional, as we don't want to participate in the misinformation even by repeating it to refute/debunk it. █
