Misinformation of IBM Spread via LLM Slop
This short article isn't long enough to count as Slopwatch, but it does contain some new examples of LLM slop, as we now see slop repeating misleading claims from IBM:
"Security" as a talking point for Wayland is outdated, baseless, and mostly a myth. It's based on the idea that because Wayland is scarcely adopted it is therefore safe. Rust uses a similar talking point for similar reasons.
Meanwhile, based on this thread, some IBM India units have doubled in size over the last few months while IBM fires more and more Americans, this one being an example from a few hours ago:
They now try to impose Wayland on every distro that uses GNOME.

Since a lot of sites now rely on LLMs we can expect the corporations' lies to be perpetuated by bots. That includes the myths of IBM Red Hat. █
