Our Time in London
10 Days Ago We Were Down in London
London is London. It does not change much. The architecture is mostly the same, the sightseeing has not changed much in the past decade [1, 2, 3], and we shall go there again in 4 weeks to meet family over the weekend.
While in London we kept the sites active and defended the sites from abusers. We posted news updates and explained what had been done to us. We then went around town and spent a few hours walking past famous places, such as the London Eye, Westminster, and the surrounding area/s.
Manchester suits us better for many reasons and we've always run the sites from Manchester. Literally 30 seconds ago the local team scored a goal. I could hear the chanting from my desk.
Back in January I published "Thank You, London! There Was No Way to Still Reliably Host Gemini From Home (on a Raspberry Pi 4) Due to Scale" because we host all sites from London, even my personal site, schestowitz.com (it has been in London since 2003, i.e. 22+ years already).
Say what you will about London; it's quite reliable and predictable a place. █
