A Day for Poppies
Today is 11/11, which means we remember people who sacrificed their lives. We too sacrificed a lot to run this site [1, 2], but our lives were never at risk, nor did we endure any injuries. We've moved on and we'll tell our story for years to come.
BBC says "Remembrance Day marks the day World War One ended - at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, in 1918. It is also known as Armistice Day. [...] Millions of people in the UK and around the world pause to remember and pay respects to those who died during wars. [...] The first two minute silence in Britain was held on 11 November 1919, when King George V asked the public to observe a silence at 11am."
This site will run as usual today. We continue our fight for Software Freedom. █
