IBM Exits Continue This Week
No more "dinobabies"?
We've noticed that, as expected, there's still a wave of layoffs going on. Some people talk about it anonymously, naming their role/position/unit, number of years (or band) etc.
These are hours old: (date of notice and day of departure not the same, but correlations exist)
Those "last day" posts are choreographed to seem like happy stories (their severance depends on this) [1, 2]. They also don't wish to post anything 'off-putting' (to future/prospective employers) publicly in Microsoft's LinkedIn.
The "dinobabies" are talking today. Anonymously.
IBM seems to be shedding off the talent it has left. It dooms its future or its potential for recovery... in the name of "cost-cutting". █
