TV Programmes in Geminispace
After all those years (about 5 years for me) with Geminispace I still check the local weather over Gemini Protocol and I still see many new capsules with photographs, news reports, even games and cooking recipes (many capsules have recipes, which we appreciate as we want to 'hack' on recipes, even actual bread).
Earlier this month I began seeing a capsule called "ProgTV" (📺 Programmes TV TNT Française 📺). Yes, it is in French. "This Atom XML document has been automatically translated to a Gemini feed," it says, "to allow subscribing to it."
So people can now use their lightweight Gemini client of choice to keep abreast on what's on television, at least in some countries. For now... that may expand in the future. Sort of like teletext except more cross-platform.
