Democracy and Buzzwords
Somebody asked me (as recently as this morning) if I was still reading the book that had been sent to me. The answer was yes, but sporadically. I felt like the book started "strong" (or strongly), then weakened towards the later chapters. But the main weaknesses, as noted before, include: 1) repetition of buzzwords; 2) concepts poorly described at times (they also always spell "internet" with a small "i"); 3) it feels like the book was an "assignment", e.g. "how about writing a book about this and that?" rather than something more organic.
I'll carry on reading and finish all pages (about 300), but by the time I finish the slop bubble might already be fully burst. █
