Techrights Site Search Was a Success After All
A few hiccups dealt with, ironed out
This past week we saw over 200 searches in the site per day, so we're looking at around 1,500 per week or almost 10,000 since we launched the search (last-minute polishing notwithstanding). We've had to block some offending IP addresses to defend against DDoS attacks and it seems to have calmed down lately. The next task is improving the Static Site Generator (SSG), updating the system, and filing an appeal.
We've got a good rhythm or a a rapid pace going on, without having to compromise any news-curating activities. This can be sustained. █
