Free Software Literature (Books) to Read This Holiday Season
Foreword by Jacob Appelbaum
Holidays are almost upon us in Europe and many will rest, some will 'binge' on blogs or read books. I too have a book to finish. I look forward to it. It was sent to me as a gift.
I've only just noticed that a book written by Richard Stallman a few years back was including a forward by Jacob Appelbaum, who was mentioned by his accuser a week before a trial (initiated by the spouse).
I'm not even going to comment on it, but this is in the public record and has been there for months already.
I will, instead, point to other Free Software Foundation (FSF) or GNU books people can buy to support the Free Software Movement (FSM). Their fund-raising has gone well, but they're still about 130k (US dollars) shy of their goal:
One way to help is, buy a book.
This list is in the "shop" at shop.fsf.org and buying these helps support Software Freedom. I've checked to see if those can be purchased online with a Free software-centric browser and yes, they can!
This is where they allow guests (no login) to proceed:
No login? No problem!
If you go ahead and buy a book, you not only support the FSF but also get something sent your way! █
