Coming to Grips With a Lack of Future at IBM
From recent hours:
Last night we could see LLM slop/spam about IBM. Hours later we saw more of the same from another site that had resorted to LLM slopping (this is confirmed):
"AI", "quantum", and other nonsense/vapourware.
What sort of future does this company have? Getting English-speaking slopfarms to issue fake reports (it's not journalism, it's LLM slop) with phony promises about 5 years from now?
IBM hasn't just become mediocre; it rewards people for failure and ousts competent people. The same is happening in Red Hat. A lot of today's articles about Red Hat are fake; Red Hat pays for articles about Red Hat and many of them are just some fluff about "AI".
Red Hat's future doesn't look bright under the auspices as they seem right now. So this is very relevant to us. █
