2026 IBM Phaseout of Red Hat

Many people no longer know or remember companies absorbed (taken over) by IBM. That's because IBM devoured whatever was in those companies, then threw away the "shell". IBM became notorious for this kind of vulture-like behaviour. IBM has bought so many companies, hoping to somehow make itself relevant (to no avail).
How many of the following companies have most people heard of?
IBM buys a new/another company every few months. What has it got to show for it? Increased debt? Red Hat won't fare any better than most IBM acquisitions. █
