Red Hat is Vanishing Before Our Eyes

IBM is canning people (this morning's latest sample):

That latter one seems like layoffs; the former is the bluewashing we spoke of this morning [1, 2] (it's done against people's will)

This morning we said that "Only Hours Into the New Year People Already Discuss the Next Round of Layoffs at Red Hat/IBM" and the above comment is 3 hours old. They expect the next wave of layoffs to be even greater than the last one. With some Red Hat staff "transitioning" we wonder if it's an HR hack, wherein they "reset the clock" on employment duration so as to lessen severance obligations. Time will tell. █
