Projection Tactics - Part III: Silencing Inconvenient Voices Online
Last week my wife and I both received threats, both of us rather certain the threats were motivated by what the spouse of the client of the hired guns had said. This is what really "triggered" him, he's just trying to censor or 'bury' his spouse.
Meanwhile a lot has happened here in the UK, where neither he nor his spouse live. For instance, "X could face ban in UK over deepfakes, minister says" and MElon "says outcry over X's Grok service is 'excuse for censorship'" (he conflates curtailing CSAM with "censorship"). If X gets banned in the UK, it'll be hard to see what the spouse says in public. In Part I and in Part 2 we dealt with abuse and harm. We oppose abuse and harm, but we must all recognise many parties suffered abuse and harm. Nobody is a monarch here, and certainly not in the US. Someone in the US seems to have suffered the most harm in the context of trauma. We can all agree that the UK isn't part of US and we must deal with American issues in the context of American affairs*. █
