IBM Was Never the Good Guy
IBM's stacked layoffs as discussed minutes ago: (IBM may be marking over 40,000 workers for potential layoffs)
As we've just mentioned, the headcount at Red Hat is rapidly going down this year. Many people formerly known as "Red Hat" staff... are no more. They're just ordinary IBM employees and IBM will terminate many of them over time, using one of the conventional methods utilised by AK and the "Pips" (or "Pipmunks" as insiders call them).
Many people want to think that because IBM bought Red Hat and because they like Red Hat, then that somehow means that IBM too magically became likeable. They're simply projecting wishes, desires and steep/high hopes onto IBM's character.
IBM in its early days did eugenics and lots of 'population control' projects (even genocide) because its original products were used for large-scale surveillance, not scientific endeavours. █
