Operating System Market Share in Luxembourg - January 2026

In 2009 (see below for desktop/laptop crosscut) Windows was measured at 91% in Luxembourg and now it's so stagnant that even Apple got ahead this year.

Luxembourg isn't a large country, so we very seldom write about it. What happens in Luxembourg is similar to what we saw and noted about Switzerland last night.

There's a very massive wave of layoffs coming Microsoft's way. Windows is a mess (updates keep breaking it for users), there's no way to recover its past dominance, and all Microsoft has left is storytelling about slop, which is basically an epic Ponzi scheme. █
