Contrary to what some apologists try to say (as recently as 9 hours ago), IBM layoffs or RAs still go on and on. Here's an interesting PIP anecdote:

Don't fall for Microsoft's lies either. At 9PM on a Friday (planned time with embargo) the top-down layoffs 'began'. There are also PIPs. █
