The former employees say this was a mass layoff. TMJ4 reached out to TEKsystems multiple times through calls and emails to confirm how many workers were laid off and to get additional context, but did not receive a response.
The above report, an article by Dan Selan and Meryl Hubbard (published about 20 minutes ago), helps confirm what we've long said. Microsoft staff lied to the media in a tweet replying to a tweet about mass layoffs, the media then claimed that Microsoft itself denies mass layoffs, but that's clearly not what's happening. Due to NDAs it is difficult to know what really goes on. █
