LWN Sponsored by the Linux Foundation (Monopolies)
Today:

Guess how many things LWN can never cover. Not just because of the Corporate Code of Conduct (CoC).
Some days ago we pointed out that 'Linux' Foundation events and even the Linux kernel (kernel.org) are stained by the sponsors of the so-called 'Foundation' - a foundation whose leadership rejects Linux. People to whom "Linux" is merely a brand to be leveraged. Sometimes for openwashing, sometimes for totally unrelated things outside the realm of computing.
This is why slop (mislabeled "hey hi") gets pushed into projects that would naturally reject it. It is also why 'Linux' Foundation events are stacked or stuffed to the rim with "content" that is actively hostile towards Linux.
LWN will always be reluctant to criticise the sponsors of the 'Linux' Foundation because it continues to rely (financially) on these sponsors. As we showed a few days ago (Tuesday), this sort of corrupting influence also impacts a lot of the media, even Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols who became a pay-to-say asset of the Zemlins and GAFAM (he attacks and even defames those who don't pay him).
The 'Linux' Foundation made the media dependent on its money - it basically acts as a redirector of corporate bribes. We must be able to casually point this out. █
