European Patent Office (EPO) Series Will Run Well Into July
This morning we published part 21.
July 1st marks mass layoffs at Microsoft, some pay increases in the UK, start of H2 of 2026, and various other things. We have named some of those before. Later in the same month GAFAM will announce so-called 'results' (and sharp debt increases), so there is an effort to proactively give shareholders a soothing story about "efficiency" (read: staff cuts).
At the EPO, they will wrap up a meeting concerning the future of the administration. Will Campinos be sent packing? If so, it won't be immediate and it'll be a gradual process.
We still have a very significant chunk of EPO "trench" stories, but we pace down the disclosure for future impact at strategic times.
Seeing that EPO strikes will likely last this entire year and maybe future years, we want to keep some rather powerful stories "in the bag" (or "tank").
Next week and next month expect another string of articles about Team Campinos undermining European democracy in the same way he and Battistelli did ahead of 2010 (EUIPO and EPO takeover).
Mafia-like elements are ruining Europe; they're not secretly funded by Russia to do this, they're basically engaging in overt, grotesque institutional plunder and constitutional violations. Contact your national representatives about it. The perfect time is this weekend or Monday. █
