Who or What is "Nadeko"?
Nadeko is not a tech term, but the name or term was borrowed [1, 2] by a busy hub/site mostly known for its rather reliable Invidious instance, a hydra of gateways.
To quote the author: "Most of the privacy-focused services (and heavy services) are hosted on my selfhosted server (Satori) at Chile (since I’m from Chile of course), but some of them are also hosted on other servers."
And regardless of what one might think (or feel) about the owner and sole admin, Fijxu, it remains the most potent way to access YouTube video without cruft, surveillance, and proprietary nonsense.
Fijxu's services make life a lot easier for Free software sticklers. http://yewtu.be/ has not perished, but it has been less reliable lately. We commended and recommended it in past years [1, 2]. █
