No Room for Misogyny and Incels in Free Software
How can we ever trust men whose own family and their own partners cannot trust?
In 2022 my wife and I quit the employer that (between the two of us) employed us for over 20 years. It was then discovered that the CEO of this company had robbed our colleagues and us. How could we have not foreseen this or predicted this? In a meal I had with the CEO a decade earlier in Manchester (he and I attended a local Drupal event) he told me that his first wife and her two daughters hated him and would not speak to him. By 2018 or 2019 he already had 2 ex wives and 4 daughters effectively 'burned'. He ran away to the US to avoid paying for his own kids.
Can you ever trust men who treat their own family (6 women, 4 of them his "own blood") like this?
No.
Don't.
From what we've heard, he's still abusing workers. He's lying about his company and there are at least 2 lawsuits ongoing or underway (imminent) for the way he abused workers, some of them former colleagues of mine.
In more recent years (after we quit) 3 Americans started picking on my wife and I. One has children from two different women whom he never married and he is also divorced. He uses all sorts of tricks and lies to avoid paying for his kids.
This person attacked my mother, my wife, and even more. It's like Graveley and Garrett, who attacked even their own partners.
Sexism is a warning sign or a "red flag". It's a mark of sociopathy, much like violence toward animals, a cautionary message that should repel and forewarn.
Incels follow other incels. They attract one another. There is, indeed, something like an "Incel Bar" online. Do not allow it to contaminate projects.
Do not allow sexists to enter Free software communities. They're users, manipulators, liars and worse. █
