Microsoft: Work Weekends Too
Hours ago: Microsoft literally working its workers to death.
Also hours ago:
"Ever since rewards," someone points out, "M1s and seniors on my team have started working weekends like its totally normal."
"I have also noticed that," someone from Microsoft responded. "I have joined MS 8 months ago and my juniors also work too hard and on weekends too."
We keep reading things like these elsewhere. It's not just a few people. It has become a cultural thing at the company (and some other companies).
Yesterday another Microsoft insider spoke about the nepotism: "Did rajat also do “leadership shakeup” and hire people from this previous employer? I notice this common pattern with exec hiring. They fire the people below them and bring their bros from previous employers who are loyal to them. Jay, hayette and mustafa appear to be doing that here at msft."
What the heck is going on at Microsoft aside from the secret mass layoffs? It is a race to the bottom. █
