Rust is not and has never been about security. Just look where it is hosting almost everything: an NSA (back doors) platform.
The above is a bit like OSI, where blog posts are composed by Microsoft operatives, half the money at hand is from Microsoft, and advocacy goes to and for Microsoft GitHub (proprietary) and GPL violations/plagiarism.
If you are rooting for Rust, then congrats, you're been conned.
Rust Foundation is sponsored by Microsoft boosters and Rust gets aggressively promoted by spies who neither value nor understand security. They want everything to be penetrable so that they can spy at ease, on the cheap, undetected. New code means code with more vulnerabilities, more holes to be discovered over time. Maturity matters. █
