Yesterday: After ditching Microsoft 365, the German state of Schleswig-Holstein is switching to Linux

Last month: Germany Said It Would Dump Microsoft and It's Actually Happening

Switzerland recently followed France and Germany (which makes sense given the culture and language) when it comes to dumping Microsoft. Germany's "market share" of GNU/Linux is about 11% right now (early morning) based on Clownflare (CDN data).

This impacts not only the Windows revenue; this corrodes any "rents" Microsoft was getting from "subscriptions". █
