Summary: Finland is calling Microsoft's Elop, whom Ballmer intends to use to make Nokia more Windows-oriented (at the expense of Linux)
THIS is the type of major departure which helps show that everyone is fleeing Microsoft but at the same time shows that Microsoft only spreads its seeds in companies that otherwise explore Microsoft's competition, notably Linux. Yes, Elop is leaving, but Microsoft's CEO already says they "look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role at Nokia."
What will happen to MeeGo? Has Nokia just been poisoned due to poor HR decisions? Recall
the Elop scandal, it's a truly mischievous one. Something similar
happened some years ago in Vodafone.
