Summary: ‘Welfare for the wealthy’ is what’s to be found in GAFAM; those companies pocket a lot of money from the American taxpayers, “sold” to the public as a matter of “defence”
THIS post is not about “Trump” or “Biden” or whatever partisan (corporate wing) slant. No matter which political party is in charge, it is always superseded by military and corporate interests. It's embedded.
We previously wrote about the US government giving Microsoft $22,000,000,000 of taxpayers' money (actually, more national debt). This is explained above; the context was a rotting economy, Microsoft layoffs, and an ongoing homelessness crisis.
In some sense, this is happening again. “Microsoft just was tossed a massive handout from the US Government,” an associate said yesterday, in reference to “JWCC (Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability) aka bailout” (they keep coming up with those acronyms, e.g. “JEDI”).
“The result is that the Kremlin and Beijing will be in and out of those systems like a cheap motel,” this associate asserted. “Oracle, too,” the associate added, “seems to be partially about grift but that is not a surprise given its origins. However, Microsoft cannot survive without frequent bailouts and with Microsoft online the side effect is that all foreign governments have full covert and overt access to the entire contents of any documents passing through or stored on Microsoft systems.”

Companies in the ‘free market’ are supposed to perish or thrive based on their performance, not based on government interventions such as stimulus or bailout. There are big Microsoft layoffs rumoured for next month. █
