Microsoft Does Not Teach People How to Install GNU/Linux But Teaches Them How to Avoid It
Microsofters changing the narrative while attacking Linux
THE media is rapidly dying because a lot of it is just awful and awfully biased. Consider this torrent of "news" articles about Microsoft adding a Web page. Oh, wow! A Web page! From Microsoft!
While a lot of the Microsoft-sponsored media is portraying awful passwords as a "linux" or "ssh" issue (new example here), i.e. the same old FUD, boosting and boasting logos, slogans, and bug "brands" for dramatic effect, the sceptical reader/spectator hopefully wonders about the motivations, the bias, and habitual lies.
All of the sudden the Microsoft-controlled media 'covers' this thing called "Linux"! Why? Because Microsoft wrote a Web page in English (yet sites not in English care?). It's consistently covered from a Microsoft perspective, i.e. pure spin.
We're assessed the text. Don't believe the hype. That's just Microsoft pushing WSL, i.e. Windows, under the guise of "Linux help"...
They don't help people dual-boot or wipe Windows so that they can really use GNU/Linux. Virtual Machines (VMs) running under Windows are also back-doored via Windows, the host OS. Talk about defeating the purpose...
Microsoft is helping nobody here... but itself.
In short, be wary of the lies and false narratives like "Microsoft loves Linux" (Gaming On Linux, we're looking at you!). Be sceptical of the revisionism and introductory paragraphs lying about Microsoft's history, even recent history. â–ˆ
