GNU/Linux Still Surfing a Wave in BRICS
THE sister site has just mentioned GNU/Linux rising to 4% in Chinese desktops/laptops. As it turns out, in India it's at an all-time high of 15% and in South Africa it exceeds 6%, based on statCounter. Worldwide, GNU/Linux rose to 3.15%. Higher than stated before and around an all-time high too.
The corporate media won't bother mentioning any of this. Instead it is peddling (just days ago) the false dichotomy of Google spyware (Chromebooks) versus Microsoft spyware (Windows) - two arms of the same empire.
