Android and GNU/Linux Skyrocket to New Highs in Iceland This Month
Scandinavian countries adopt GNU/Linux faster than the rest of Europe (on average) and Iceland is part of that trend [1, 2] (screenshots below). We wrote about it earlier this year [1, 2, 3] and there will hopefully be more to say or to celebrate later this year.
Notice below that this month the people of Iceland have all-time highs both for Android and for GNU/Linux. Yes, Android has Linux in it, but it does not respect freedoms and we count that separately. █
